Meet Assistant Quartermaster Keith Geiger

Keith Geiger is among the members of the Gilwell Troop 1 Quartermaster’s Corps serving as an assistant quartermaster. Additionally, he serves as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 50, chartered by the Auburn Rotary Club, in the Saugahatchee District.

He has been an adult Scouter for seven years, having served during that time as an assistant scoutmaster in two different troops, including Troop 50. He is also Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.

Keith originally attended Chattahoochee Council Wood Badge Course SR-942 in 2009 and was a member of the Eagle Patrol. This represents his first time serving on a Wood Badge course staff.

Professionally, Keith is an operations supervisor at Auburn University. He and his wife Amanda have two children: Jeffery, who is Troop 50’s first Eagle Scout and received the rank of Eagle in September 2013, and Sydney.
