Todd has more than eight years of adult Scouting experience. His volunteer service includes service at both the Cub Scout pack level as a den leader and Boy Scout troop level through his current responsibilities. This past November, he, his son Jeffery, and other Scouts teamed up to hike the first 68-mile section of the Appalachian Trail. He is also recently inducted as an Ordeal Member of Order of the Arrow's Chattahoochee Lodge 204, and was recently named the 2013 Yellow Jacket District Scoutmaster of the Year.
He originally attended Chattahoochee Council Wood Badge Course S9-91-12 in 2012 and was a member of the Eagle Patrol. While this is his first Wood Badge staffing experience, Todd has been a frequent Outdoor Webelos Leader Skills training instructor and, in 2013, served as director of the council’s Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) Cub Scout training.
Todd works as an architect with Smith Design Group. He is married to Barbara, and their son Jeffrey is a Life Scout in Troop 21 and currently preparing to begin his Eagle Scout service project.
