Meet Assistant Scribe Lisa Thompson

Lisa Thompson, a volunteer leader in the Muskogee District, is serving Gilwell Troop 1 as an assistant scribe. She is also a committee member and advancement chair for Troop 128, chartered by the Smiths Station Ruritan Club.

During her more than seven years of volunteer Scouting experience, Lisa has served as a pack committee member and assistant den leader for Pack 128 prior to her current duties in Troop 128.

Lisa attended Chattahoochee Council Wood Badge Course S9-91-12 and was a member of the Fox Patrol. This represents her first time serving on Wood Badge staff.

Professionally, Lisa works as an engineering clerk with Alabama Power Company. She is married to Charles, who is scoutmaster of Troop 128 and who also attended Wood Badge Course S9-91-12. Together, they have one son, Aaron, who is a Life Scout working on his Eagle Scout project.
