Course participants, staff invited to camp work day this Saturday

No matter where the term "Beaver Day" comes from — those up-and-at-em folks known as "eager beavers," those never-stop-working folks known to be "as busy as beavers," or those Wood Badgers known as Beaver Patrol members — what we do know is that Camp Lumpkin is looking for help from as many current and soon-to-be Beavers, Bobwhites, Eagles, Foxes, Owls, Bears, Buffaloes, and Antelopes as possible this Saturday, Feb. 15.

This Saturday's "Beaver Day" will focus on conducting some repairs and cleaning up following the aftermath of frozen pipes at camp last month. Work will begin around 9 a.m. ET and continue no later than 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and those able to help should wear old work clothes and bring any cleaning supplies they can spare.
